I hear from people all over the world who are interested in coming to Kentucky--some of them have never been to Kentucky, some grew up here and want to come back, some visited Grandma here in the summer, loved it, and now want to live here. Many who left for one reason or another, now plan to come back. Kentucky is a wonderful place to live. Once she touches your heart, you'll never want to leave her.
My favorite Kentucky joke:
A lady died and went to Heaven. Gabriel was showing her around and she was oohing and aahing about how beautiful everything was. Then, she looked over and saw all of these people in chains.
"Why are those people in chains?" Gabriel looked fondly in their direction and said, "Oh, they're from Kentucky and if we don't chain them up, they'll go right back home!"
